Thank you to each and every one of our guests who has stayed here over the past 6 years. We truly enjoyed hosting you!

In 2024 we will be taking a break from hosting glampers as we focus our attention on farming, pizza nights and our small children.

Are we crazy for pausing an enterprise that regularly sells out somewhere between hours and days once the calendar opens up? Maybe! But we’re doing it anyway.

Just as we will miss welcoming such lovely guests to our farm, we know we won’t regret the intentional choice to have just a bit more time in our schedules for other things we love (like pizza and our kids!).

Stay tuned for future opportunities to glamp here. Just because we’re taking a pause this year, doesn’t mean there won’t be more chances in the future to wake up on our working farm!

We’ve put together a list of our recommended places for you to stay. Don’t forget to visit us for pizza while you’re here and be sure to check out our favorite eats, drinks, shops and adventures!

visit Beautiful Decorah

If this is your first time in the Decorah area, chances are that it will not be your last. It might sound crazy, but Decorah is undoubtedly the hippest small town in the Midwest and has been coined the “mountain town without mountains” by Midwest Living. We love our little corner of the universe and want to do everything we can to ensure that you do too.

In our community we have an abundance of small farmers, homesteaders, small businesses, breweries, restaurants, parks and trails and a thriving local food cooperative. Locals care deeply about this place and work creatively to help it become even more vibrant and strong.

Our farm is located just 8 miles north of Decorah and only a few miles from the Minnesota border (as the crow flies). We live in Pleasant Township, which is a unique place in and of itself with a lot of interesting characters tucked into the hills. If you look closely you’ll find market gardeners, heirloom seed enthusiasts, artists, a grass milk dairy (it belongs to Tom’s parents) and a network of people always willing to lend a hand when a hand is needed. We are lucky to live in such a special place and look forward to sharing it with you.

Canoers enjoying the Upper Iowa River. One of the many great things to do during a visit to Decorah!
